Sono stati annunciati i titoli nominati per la 26esima edizione dei Game Developer Choice Awards (GDC Awards 2026). Il titolo con piรน candidature รจ stato Clair Obscur Expedition 33, con 8 nelle 9 categorie, compresa quella del Gioco dell’anno, dove si sfiderร con Blue Prince, Donkey Kong Bananza, Ghost of Yลtei , Hollow Knight: Silksong e Split Fiction.
I finalisti sono stati selezionati dall’International Choice Awards Network specifico per il GDCA, un’organizzazione riservata ai principali creatori di giochi. La cerimonia del GDC Awards 2026 si terrร il 12 marzo durante il GDC Festival of Gaming, che si svolgerร dal 9 al 13 marzo al Moscone Convention Center di San Francisco. La 28a cerimonia annuale di premiazione dell’Independent Games Festival si terrร invece l’11 marzo. Entrambe le cerimonie saranno trasmesse su Twitch.
